I have added this page to my site as I feel it is vital that we never forget the horrific events of September the 11th 2001. We should always remember all those lives that were lost and the people who lost loved ones including children who were born after the attacks who were robbed of the chance to grow up with their fathers being a part of their lives. These people were not politicians or world leaders, they were just ordinary Americans going to work like they did every day, but sadly they never made it home again
It is now 10 years later and I hope like so many others that I never live to witness anything so heartbreaking ever again. I remember switching on my TV that morning and thinking if this is a movie it is in very bad taste, it could give terrorists ideas. I then spotted LIVE on the corner of the screen and realised that it was all too real. I then began wishful thinking that perhaps these events had happened very early before anyone in the towers had arrived for work, as we all now know only too well that was not the case
My thoughts as well as those of my family will and always will be with all the people who lost their lives on September 1th, their loved ones and all the members of NYFD and NYPD who lost friends and colleagues
